Why does your street have the name it has? Are you curious about the history behind your street name?

The street names for this week are the letters I & V

ISLAND QUEEN ST WITHERS: Named after ship (whaler) that operated from Bunbury and along the coast during the years 1831 and 1845.

IVER ST WITHERS: Possibly named after Iver McCauley Robertson, a councillor from 1964 -1986. (Ref:File6140/1926v2pg46).

VIXEN ST WITHERS: Taken from names of ships/coastal vessels used in the early days of the State. Names supplied by Archivist
