For 26 years, the Friends of Des Ugle Park and later the Withers Progress Association organised and ran the very popular Des Ugle Park Xmas Fair. Many families enjoyed the free entertainment and activities, stalls, food trucks and spending time with each other.
On Saturday 26th November 2022, we organised our last Des Ugle Park Xmas Fair. It was a great day with hundreds of people attending and enjoying the games, stall, activities, and entertainment.
At a recent meeting, the Withers Progress Association made the decision to cease organising and running the Des Ugle Park Xmas Fair. We decided that 2023 will be a new era for us. We will be hosting an annual Withers Community Fair right here at the Withers Community Heart Centre. It will still be a fun day for the whole family but it will give us the opportunity to showcase our centre and what the Withers Progress Association does for our community.
