On Friday 7th August 2020 at 1pm Withers Progress Association Incorporated (WPA Inc.) attended the official opening of the long awaited Des Ugle Park toilets and its connecting footpaths.
Students from Maidens Park Primary School were excited to show their artwork, which was reflecting what Des Ugle Park means to them. Bunbury MLA Don Punch and South West Development Commission chief executive officer Mellisa Teede were there to officially open the long awaited Des Ugle Park toilet block.
The current artwork will be on show in the community notice board attached to the front of the toilet block until the end of this month, after which a small selection will be displayed on a monthly rotational basis. This is one small part of the overall renewal of Withers.
